TWO DAY COURSE:
Tabletop Security Scenarios: A team building exercise that will challenge your team to resolve various security breaches and threats while working together.
Perimeter Awareness: Explains the importance of proactive security and draws a clear picture of the vulnerabilities individuals and organizations experience. Students are presented with tools to increase their levels of situational awareness and be able to recognize security threats that an untrained eye may not notice. Recommended policies and procedures are also outlined.
Company Culture: This module stresses the importance of a fully-engaged security culture, and the importance of maintaining that culture through management and team member participation. It will help students determine the weak areas of their company’s culture, and suggest methods to strengthen it.
Case Study: An in-depth view of commandeering, outlining possible methods that a terrorist may use. This section explores past incidents and provides students with the means to identify a threat and take decisive action.
Personal Protection and Awareness: Personal Protection and Awareness are the keys to survival in any hostile region or context. This section gives students the tools to prevent, detect and respond to a threat, whether it be on the road or in their personal lives. We will also cover criminal methodologies, how attackers profile and select victims and how to deter them. The students will also be taught anti-kidnap and weaponless defense, and will practice that knowledge during attack scenarios.
Preventative Security Measures: This is a focused view of policies and procedures that must be in place to prevent, detect and address a security breach. This section dissects airport security, passenger assessment, pilot/passenger relations, luggage concerns for known and unknown passengers, hotel security, personal security, communication practices and aircraft burglary. This module will also address the concerns specific to your team’s most common and/or high-risk destinations.
Hostile Hotel Takeover Survival Training: (limited to space available, as well as local laws and restrictions) A safe, live-fire exercise using studio weapons that provides the realism of an actual takedown in a controlled environment. This interactive portion of the training will give the students hands-on experience as they participate in the scenarios and gain the skills and confidence necessary to survive.
Cockpit Breach Survival Training: Reality-based instruction exposing students to a variety of attacks that may occur both on and off the aircraft. The section is designed to accelerate learning by doing, and to provide students with the tools to defend themselves against an attack. It is structured to increase both competence and confidence in a high-stress situation. It is designed for all members of your flight department and does not require any previous training.
Vehicle Occupant Response Training (VORT): This is a live drill teaching students how to detect, prevent and respond to a threat in a rideshare, taxi or other vehicle transport setting.
Active Shooter: This module consists of a live-fire exercise using studio weapons, and is designed to give students a realistic experience of being in an active shooter/assailant situation. Coupled with practical teaching, it provides students with the tools and mindset necessary to increase their odds of survival.
